The scary poem!

This is me and Katherine recording ourselves saying the scary poem and here it is so you can read along as well I hope you like it.

There once was a lizard that traveled through a snow blizzard.
He would creep out at night to have a fight while you go to sleep he would go beep like an alarm clock, he will come in and undo lock.

There was a moan outside and groan inside. What will it be? Lets go out and see.
We walked out of the castle and saw his muscle, and he scrambled us like eggs, then he hung us on the washing line by our legs with pegs.

Once we got down he stood there with a frown. His friend behind him was acting like a clown.

The clown was so scary we said oh my god you are so hairy the clown was embarrassed and had a fit but the evil lizard hit him and told him he was being a wuss.

The friends went back into the castle when we heard a hustle and bustle within the castles walls. When we turned around we saw  a mouse and then he said get out of my house.
There was a vampire eating garlic we thought this was odd but then he saw us and he jumped up and bit us in the neck but before we died we said: “What the heck?”

Men's 100 metre sprint results.

Here is mine and Natasha's dot plot graph and it holds the results of the men's 100m finals.

A rock and a hard place.

THE START:

“It seems to me you are stuck between a rock and a hard place”, says my rugby coach.

I infer that the boy might be in a sticky situation at home or maybe at school, he might be getting teased or maybe he just doesn’t fit in. I also infer that his coach is trying to help him. I also infer that it is something to do with rugby.

THE END:

When I wake up in the morning, I realise my cat did have all the answers.

I can support both teams the SpringBoks and the All Blacks.

The Olympic torch!

I wait for John Key to light the Olympic torch. The crowd cheered hard out. Finally it is lit. I feel so proud as I hold the torch it has been my dream since I was a little kid. My eyes scan the crowd and there they are my family my little sister on my Dad’s shoulders and my Mum with the biggest grin on her face it makes me smile. Then when I stop smiling, well I can’t it is like it is stuck onto my face like a squirrel stuck to an acorn.

I look up and see a little dot and I think it is the next person. As I get closer I see that the person doesn’t have two legs it only has one and he carries a stick to help him walk, but I think to myself what sport he would be in he could be in swimming, he could be in any sport he wanted to be in...

“Hello hello is anybody home” I heard someone say.
“What” I replied, as I was awaking from my daydream. Finally I was awake and I saw the man with no leg. As I hand him the torch I hear him say ”can you please run with me and so we both can light the cauldron together”
“OK” I say back to him. “I would really like that.” It is a bumpy ride though because he only has one leg but it was really fun and exciting. When we got to the cauldron I help the man without a leg up the steps onto the platform where the cauldron is and he hands it over to a woman. She lights the cauldron, then everyone cheers!

The End!!!

The Great White Man Eating Shark!

Mr M read us a story but only half of the story and we had to make a ending for it and the story was The great white man eating shark. This is my ending for the story please read it and tell me what you think of it.

Mrs Scorpio was bobbing up and down in the waves harmlessly, until she was disturbed with a unwanted visitor and so she turned around to see who it was, when she turned around and she saw the dorsal fin of the great white man eating shark heading straight for her. She screamed and screamed but it was too late the great white man eating shark nipped her leg and it started bleeding. Then suddenly the sea around them turned red.

“AHHH!”  Shouted Mr Slim and everyone else as they hopped out of the water kicking and screaming. But Mrs Scorpio could not move because of the big gash in her leg that was bleeding hard out. But Norvin did not know about the shark although he could hear people screaming and so he went in the water so he could swim around the corner.

When he was around the corner he saw the shark and started to swim away from it, but the real shark was too fast and it had already seen him it was heading straight for him with her mouth right open and norvin was so scared he did something I would not like to repeat. But to Norvin's surprise the shark did not eat Norvin but she gave him a big sloppy kiss so they lived happily ever after. Well, Norvin did not but the shark did.
